Candies made with honey are available in mint, eucalyptus, lemon and pure honey, plain and simple.

Most of us know that honey is produced by bees from plant nectar. The insects store honey in hives and sustain themselves with it all year long. Various mammals, including humans, consume honey.

What is less known is the amount of work it takes to make honey. To produce one pound of the sweet substance, bees must make some 17,000 trips and visit some 8,700,000 flours. This represents more than 7,000 hours of work.
